Introduction to PCB Assembly
The evolving of technology makes every single electronic device today will have a printed circuit board (PCB) to make it operate. PCB Assembly itself is like the ‘heart’ of the devices, therefore the printed circuit assembly process is critical to get right for the first time. If there is an error, it could give a malfunctions result, even the threat of accidents as well!
But before know more about PCBA, you must know what is printed circuit assembly process steps!
PCB Assembly actually is not a board manufacturing
Printed circuit assembly is the process of bringing everything together into one place and creating a functional thing of multiple devices components. The manufacturer will adding some components and resistors, then make sure that the process is smoothly done.
While some PCB assembly processes will require just one technology, others will require a combination of two or more technologies.
Let’s take an example: many boards require the combination of through-hole technology (THT) and surface mount technology. Understanding when, where, and how to integrate those technologies is a critical consideration when choosing a company to handle your project or production.

Why do you need outsourcing contract assembly?
Outsourcing contract assembly service are quite popular in manufacturing industry. If you need trouble-free production, with individual components meshing together precisely as planned, you aim to bring the complexity of your processes down to manageable levels, focusing on core capabilities while keeping costs to a minimum, reducing waste, and increasing flexibility, outsourcing contract assembly is here to assist you.
By using contract assembly service from Fullgood Electronic, we will help you to reduce costs and add value by reducing steps in the supply chain and by eliminating waste and extra handling of contract manufactured parts.
Not only that, we will also locate our facilities strategically to have access to lower-cost labor options. By improving quality through a simple contract assembly formula, the more often you touch a part, the higher the likelihood of error or default. The less you touch a part, the higher the quality.
For further information about contract assembly, please contact Fullgood Electronic as manufacturer and supplier in Taiwan.

How do circuit board assembly evolve?
PCBA is the abbreviation of Printed Circuit Board Assembly, which means that the PCB board is loaded by SMT, or the entire process of DIP plug-in, referred to as PCBA.
Both SMT and DIP are ways of integrating parts on the PCB. The main difference is that SMT does not require drilling holes on the circuit board assembly. In DIP, the PIN pins of the parts need to be inserted into the holes that have been drilled.
The difference between PCB and circuit board assembly
You should be able to know that PCB Assembly generally refers to a processing process, and can also be understood as a finished circuit board, that is, circuit board assembly can only be counted after all the processes on the PCB are completed. A Printed Circuit Board, on the other hand, refers to an empty printed circuit board with no parts on it.
To put it simply: Printed Circuit Board Assembly is the finished board, and PCB is the bare board.
